Walking directions
Find Tenmaya. Walk south along Chou Dori (the only street without streetcar tracks). Go 2 blocks and turn left towards Nagarekawa. (There's a brown brick building on the corner that has the Asahi Beer Hall on the top floor.) Walk down this street past the first intersection. Look up and you'll see a sign for the Sumatra Tiger overhead. Enter the building on your right and take the elevator/stairs up to the 5th floor.

Description
The sawdust on the floor may give you the impression that you've walked into the wrong place. There are a couple of tables along the walls and a decent sized L-shaped bar. They play an eclectic selection of hard rock & popular music. Feel free to thumb through the CD collection and make a request. From time to time they have live bands (with cover charge on those nights).
