Kawamoto Sandwich & Dessert

Elegant, yet reasonably priced sandwich and dessert restaurant located near the Ford building downtown. Just opened in March of 2000. Although these sandwiches don't come close in size to that found in a NY style deli, they were the largest we've seen in Hiroshima. Several combination (sets) specials throughout the day.

Walking directions

From Tenmaya corner:
Walk north up the street car line towards the Ford building, make a right at the first traffic light. Then pass through your first traffic light. The restaurant is located about halfway down the block on your left, before the next light.
From Rihga Royal Hotel:
Walk north towards the castle, make a right at the light (Jonan dori Ave.) At the street car line, make a right. Head south and make a left at the 4th traffic light. The restaurant is located about halfway down the block on your left, before the next light.

Favorite dishes

The Beef Cutlet Sandwich and the Millefeuille dessert were delicious. The Club Sandwich looked good too.
